YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - Freshman Christian Montgomery scored a team-leading 13 points, but the Westmoreland County Community College men's basketball team lost by a 100-53 count to visiting Garrett College Friday night.

The Lakers scored the game's first 17 points in building a 21-point halftime lead. In the second half, the Wolfpack did feature 10 different players scoring at least one basket, including three-pointers by Montgomery, Jake Biros and Jared Valenti.

Montgomery knocked down a pair of threes on his way to the team-leading 13 markers. Valenti was next on the scoring list with seven and Joel Lonigro and Dan McQuaide each had six points.

The Wolfpack are back in action on Tuesday when they face Penn State-Altoona in a road tilt scheduled for a 7 pm tip-off.
