PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Two Westmoreland County Community College men's bowlers placed in the top five and a total of four Wolfpack finished in the top nine at Friday's bowling match held at Perry Park in Pittsburgh.
The top Wolfpack bowler was Josh Gelet, who earned third place. He scored 227 in his first game and posted 180 and 186 in the final two games to score 593 on the day. Also scoring for Westmoreland was Chris Gaia, who cosed his series with a 214 in the third game and scored 572 overall.
The big third game propelled Gaia over teammate Zach Hartmann for fifth place. Hartmann's high score of 202 came in the second game, as he went on to score 533 for the day. Also cracking the top ten overall was Trevor Nelson, who finished at 495 overall. Completing the Wolfpack roster was Noah Svidron, who placed 15th overall.
Up next for Westmoreland is a match at Coral Lanes in West Mifflin, Pa., on Jan. 22nd.
