NORTH HILLS, Pa. - Led by a season-best effort from Noah Svidron, the Westmoreland County Community College men's bowling team placed five in the top 10 at Friday's match hosted by CCAC-North.
Svidron was the lone Wolfpack bowler to score by placing third after he rolled a 612, his best series of the season. He came storming back to take that third place finish thanks to scoring 227 in the third game, which vaulted him over five other bowlers into scoring position. The 227 was the third best game total posted for the day and set a new season-high for Svidron.
One of those higher scores for the day was registered by Wolfpack teammate Josh Gelet, who opened the day by rolling 233 on his was to a series score of 562 and sixth place overall. Coming in right behind him was Zach Hartmann, who scored 552 and the top ten was rounded out by Trevor Nelson in ninth place (542) and Chris Gaia in 10th with a score of 480.
Westmoreland is back on the lanes on Tuesday in a match hosted by CCAC-Boyce.
