WESTMORELAND ROLLS IN FINAL TUNE-UP FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - In her final match before next weekend's WPCC Championships, Haley Wedow finished second for the Westmoreland County Community College women's bowling team in Thursday's match hosted by Penn Highlands.

The lone Wolfpack female to bowl on Thursday, Wedow sat in third place after the opening game, but rebounded to score 138 in the second game and move into first place by 15 pins enetering the final game. However, Penn Highlands' Caitlyn Guerico, bowling on her home lanes, rolled 157 in the final game, the best single-game score of the afternoon, to take first place. Wedow finished the day with a series score of 355 to earn second place.

In their next action, Wedow and Julia Jumper will roll for the Wolfpack next Friday, Feb. 15th at the WPCC Championships. Westmoreland will serve as the home school for the tournament, which will begin at 9 am at Main Lanes Bowling Center in Greensburg, Pa.
