WOLFPACK DROP WPCC OPENER AT PENN HIGHLANDS

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Penn Highlands Monday night in the WPCC opener for both programs.

The short-handed Wolfpack, who were missing two from their regular rotation, had another competitive match, dropping sets by scores of 10-25, 14-25, 11-25. Freshman Arianna Matrone led the team with four kills and added one service ace. Sophomore Julia Jumper totaled three kills and added an ace as well. Up front, freshman Anna Edmonds had two kills and three blocks at the net. Helping set up the attack was Haley Kolar with seven assists and Morgan Brown with four assists.

Westmoreland will be back on the road Wednesday night for another WPCC match, as they travel to Butler for a 6 pm match.
