WOLFPACK TAKE 3RD AT PENN STATE-FAYETTE MEET
LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College women's cross country team, ranked seventh in the most recent NJCAA Division III poll, posted a strong showing at Saturday's Penn State-Fayette Invitational. 
 
The Wolfpack placed third behind only the University of Pittsburgh club team (Division I) and Fairmont State University (NCAA Division II). Running the 6k course in a steady rain, freshman Brooke Bertovich was the first team member to finish, taking 18th overall and was the second junior college runner to cross the finish line. Pacing not far behind her were Jenna Hildenbrand and Jenn Baldwin. The complete list of Wolfpack runners and their times are below:

Next up for Westmoreland are the 2019 WPCC Championships Thursday. The Wolfpack will be running for their fifth consecutive league title. Ladies race will start at 4 and the men will follow at 4:40.
