Baseball Travels to Catonsville
Saturday afternoon Westmoreland traveled to Baltimore for a double header against division II CCBC Catonsville. In game 1 Catonsville Jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after one inning, on their way to a 13-2 victory.
Cameron DePalma, Dom Kotch, and Ben Anderson continue to swing hot bats, each collecting another hit each. DePalma drove in his fifth run of the season as well. Leo Bravo started the game and was followed by Chaz Lankey, and they combined to strike out 4 batters.
Game 2 went the same way with Catonsville jumping out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning on their way to a 12-0 win. Cameron Depalma collected another hit on the game, his eleventh of the season. Cameron is now hitting .355 on the season after his two hits in this game. In game two Jared Wagner and Luke Savage combined to strike out 4 batters again in game two.
The Wolfpack's game on Tuesday against CCAC has been postponed due to the weather, so they will be back on the field Thursday against the St. Vincent College JV team at Westmoreland. The game will be streamed on the Westmoreland Athletics Facebook page.
