2021-22 Women's Basketball Preview
The 2021-22 Wolfpack women's basketball team is looking forward to the start of their 2021-22 season in January. The Ladies team missed the 2020-21 season due to the pandemic. Despite not playing last season, the Wolfpack are returning to action with a very talented group of freshmen this season.
Led by guards Angel Kelly (Franklin Regional), MaKayla Boda (California Area), and Chloe Willochell (Greater Latrobe), as well as, forwards Lexi Stanik (Mt. Pleasant), Autumn Stewart (Clay Battelle, WV), and Myranda Stephans (Uniontown Area). The Wolfpack has also added in a pair of transfer students to help build up the roster in Crystal Keebler (West Mifflin/CCAC) and Keagen Hood (Greater Latrobe/University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg).
"This group of young ladies bring a lot of skill, speed, and size to this years team, and should be in contention for a WPCC, and Region 20, championships this season," said head coach James Brymn. Coach Brymn is going into his fourth season as the leader of the Pack. "Coach Brymn brings a wealth of basketball knowledge, and experience, to the women's program," said athletic director Mike Draghi.
The Wolfpack women's basketball team wishes all the students, players, coaches, and their families a safe and happy holiday season! They look forward to opening their season in a few weeks!
