Women's Basketball take on the Lady Lakers
Friday afternoon the women's basketball team traveled south to take on NJCAA Division II Garrett College, and the Lady Lakers. The Lakers jumped out to a quick 10-2 lead, and never looked back in route to a 88-37 final score. "We battled hard, playing up a division, and only with only 5 ladies traveling," Said Coach Brymn. "It is only our third game together, and they learn more, and more, about playing together each time."
For the second time in their three games, the Wolfpack was lead in scoring by Freshman Makayla Boda, who scored 14 points. Angel Kelly was in double digit points for the first time this season with 11 points. Autumn stewart topped the rebound category for the Wolfpack with 8. While Hannah Wedow, playing in her first game of the season, scored 8 points and pulled in 7 rebounds. Freshman Sarah Fulton also added her first point of the year as well.
The ladies will return to the court on Wednesday as they host WPCC Conference rival, CCAC at 5pm in the gym.
