Wolfpack Drop Two At Allegany
YOUNGWOOD, Pa – The Wolfpack Baseball team lost two road games against Allegany College of Maryland on Friday, March 26th.
In the two games, the Wolfpack tallied 19 hits and 15 runs. In game one, the offense was led by Noah Sweeney, Matt Wicker, and Nick Fuentes. Sweeney went 2-for-4 with a home run and Wicker went 3-for-5. Fuentes had two doubles in four at bats while also collecting four RBIs. Pitching struggled for the Wolfpack, as four pitchers were used in the 17-12 game one loss.
In game two, Westmoreland was held to only six hits through the six-inning game. Noah Sweeney continued his great hitting performance, going 2-for-4 with a single and a double. Tommy Kegerreis, Caden Kastronis, and Matt Henderson all earned one RBI a piece. Allegany's bats banged out 13 hits in their 14-3 win in game two.
The Wolfpack will host the Hagerstown Hawks on Tuesday March 30th for a double header starting 1:00pm.
