Bowling Hits the Lanes to Start the 2025 Season
The men's and women's bowling teams kicked off the 2025 bowling season as they traveled 814 Lanes and Games to play in a match hosted by Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, with CCAC also taking part.
On the men's side of things, all five members of the team took part in the event. Freshman Andrew Marcej was the top scorer for Westmoreland. He ended up with a 636 series, with a 207, 256, and 173. This was good enough to place him second overall. Larry Weaver and Jake Smith placed 5th and 6th with scores of 584 and 576. Luke Sunny was next with a total score of 546, good enough for 8th overall. Sophomore Camden Wright placed 12th for the Wolfpack with 440 total pins.
For the women's team sophomore Faith Shean was the top overall finisher with a 452 series, her games went 172, 118, and 162. Freshman Adalyn O'Rear placed 3rd overall with a 280 series.
The Wolfpack will be back on the lanes this Friday at Main Bowl in Greensburg for their first of 2 home matches, the match will start at 2pm.
