The Westmoreland County Community College Men's and Women's Golf teams kicked off their spring 2026 season with an impressive outing Friday afternoon at North Park in a match hosted by CCAC.
The two lowest rounds of the match were recorded by the Wolfpack's Luke Anderchak and Aiden Duffy with scores of 77 and 78. Bret Worthington and Gunner Shoop were close behind with matching rounds of 80. Noah Dubyak and Ethan Hixson had good days with scores of 82 and 85. While Casey Schraeder rounded out the men's team with a round of 101. The Men's combined scores of 315 was good enough to defeat Butler with a 324, CCAC with a 344, and Penn Highlands with a 385.
Only three members of the Wolfpack women's team took part in the event and played very consistent golf. Nikkita Vojnik led the way with a very solid 92. Jada Ford and Bryn Baluh both scored 95's on the day.
Next up for the Wolfpack will be a home matchup on Friday morning at Glengarry Golf course in Latrobe as they host CCAC, Butler, and Penn Highlands.
