MEN'S WOLFPACK TAKE TEAM TITLE
Youngwood, Pa.- Led by four of the top five runners finishing in the top 10, the men's cross country team won the Wolfpack Invitational for the first time. The Wolfpack was the top team overall outrunning three other NJCAA schools, PSU Fayette, and Mt. Aloysious.
The men's team was paced by freshman Dante Frescura, Greater Latrobe. Winning his first college race, Dante crossed the line with a time of 17:27. Micah Conroy, Jared Bowman, and Peyton Hause were the next members of the Wolfpack to cross the line in 7th, 8th, and 10th place. The win was secured by sophomore Nathan Miller Finshing 20th, and giving the team a score of 41, which was good enough for a 16 point victory over 2nd place PSU Fayette, 57 points.
The Wolfpack will be back in action on Saturday September 18th, as they will be traveling to the Garrett Invitational.
