Beeman Takes First Place

Friday afternoon, the Westmoreland County Community College men's and women's Bowling team played host Penn Highlands main bowling center.
Freshman bowler Rachel Beeman was on the Lanes for the first time after missing the Wolfpack's first match of the season. Rachel bowled a 452 series with a high game of 159 in game one. She took first place overall by 106 total pins over second place! Rachel averaged a 150 over all 3 of her games.
On the men's side of things, Wolfpack men took the top four finishing spots overall. Luke Sonny led the way with a 658 series. His score of 247, and 245 were the two highest scores on the day, and gave him a 206 average for the day. Hunter Cook placed second totaling 587 pins. Sophomore Larry Weaver was in third place with 533 pins, and Jake Sincak placed fourth overall with a 525 series. Sophomore Alex Marcej placed 8th overall With a 450 series.
The Wolfpack's next match will be Tuesday, January 27 at 1 PM at 814 lanes and games in Johnstown. Following that they'll be back at Main Bowl on Friday, January 30 at 2 PM.
