Golf Tees Off the Fall Season at Lake Arthur
Friday afternoon saw the 2025 fall golf season tee off at Lake Arthur golf course for a WPCC Conference matchup hosted by Butler County Community College.
The men's team was led by Sophomore Aiden Duffy who fired a round of 78 to kick off the season. His 78 was the lowest round of the tournament earning Duffy the 1st place finish. Following one stroke behind in second place was freshman Luke Anderchak with a round of 79 in his first college match. Sophomore Bret Worthington and Noah Dubyak were next for the Wolfpack with a rounds of 82 each. Gunner Shoop had an excellent score or 89 in his first college match. Ethan Hixson rounded out the men's team members with a score of 103.
The Wolfpack women's team came out hot as well, led by freshman Brynlee Baluh, who finished with a round of 98 to start the season. 2025 NJCAA All American Jada ford placed 2nd with a score of 102. Freshman Nikkita Vojnik and Rylee Brawdy finished up the scoring for the Wolfpack with rounds of 120 and 121 on the day.
The Wolfpack will be off this week, before returning to the course on Monday September 8th as they host a match at Glengarry Golf Course in Unity PA at 10am.
