Freshman Noah Dubyak and Ethan Hixson closed out the match with rounds of 81 and 85. The Wolfpack played their second match in a row being under a team score of 300, as their total score was a 296, beating Butler's score of 317.
Westmoreland's women's team had the top two female finishers in Bryn Baluh and Jada Ford scoring rounds of 94 and 95. Placing 4th and 5th overall was Rachael Ayres and Layla Klosky shooting rounds of 110 and 131. "The both teams are poised to bring home so major hardware in the conference tournament next week," said Head Coach Jeff Black.
The Wolfpack will hit the links one more time this fall on Friday as they travel to Windber Golf Course for a match hosted by Penn Highlands to close out the regular season. Then next Monday and Tuesday the Wolfpack will take part in the WPCC Conference Championship at the Links at Spring Church.
