Women's soccer blanks Penn State Beaver

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - The women's soccer team started off their 2014 season with a  8-0 win over Penn State Beaver in a non-conference action. WCCC received 2 early first half goals from Sydney Pecorano as she went on to finish her afternoon with 4 goals. Lindsey Dawson added 2 goals, while Danielle Roth and Alex Metz each chipped in a goal apiece. Goalie Tarin Dawson stopped all PSB shots she faced in earning her first shut out of the season. WCCC (1-0) will travel to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Saturday for another non-conference game before opening up regional play next week at home.
