CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The NJCAA released the 2020-21 Academic Teams of the Year Thursday and the Westmoreland County Community College women's cross country program added another milestone to a remarkable season.
The Wolfpack, who placed third at NJCAA Division III Championships in November, ranked 14th among all NJCAA cross country programs this past year with a 3.29 Team GPA through both semesters of the 2020-21 academic year. In addition, Anna Rubino and Chelsey Gasparovic posted 4.0 GPAs for the academic year, which earned all three runners First Team All-Academic First Team distinction as individuals as well. Earning Second Team All-Academic Team laurels with a 3.91 GPA for the year was Molleigh Henderson.
Two others finished above 3.0 GPAs for the year, including Morgan Brown and Brooke Bertovich.
